International arrivals from all countries must produce a negative RT-PCR test taken no more than 10 days in advance.

Wherever yacht charter guests are flying in from, everyone must provide a negative RT-PCR test no more than 10 days old when entering the Bahamas and apply for a Health Visa from the Bahamas Ministry of Health. Our charter brokers can walk you through the process.

Chartered and private flights are allowed in

It is still possible to fly in and out on a chartered or private flight, as contact will be limited to your luxury yacht charter group and the crew on board.

There are numerous airports across the Bahamas, including Lynden Pindling International Airport on Nassau for access to the marina, and smaller airstrips such as Staniel Cay for access to the famous Pig Beach and the rest of the Exumas island chain. Enjoy the uninhabited outer islands of the Bahamas by flying into Georgetown Great Exuma and heading east to Conception Island, San Salvador, and Rum Cay for incredible fishing and SCUBA.

Eleuthera has a few choices for guests flying in to the famous pink sand beaches, the closest to Harbour Island being North Eleuthera Airport. To the south, Long Island has two airports at either end of the island – Stella Maris airport and Deadman’s Cay airport – the latter closer to the incredible attraction Dean’s Blue Hole.

Grand Bahama is closed to all visitors, including charter yachts

Grand Bahama, the closest island to the Florida coast and the location of the Freeport International Airport, will be closed to all visitors. However, this is just one island amongst the 700 islands and 2,000 rocks and cays and you can easily alter your itinerary to include more of the spectacular beaches, dive sites and wildlife havens for a thoroughly satisfying and socially distanced holiday under warm tropical sunshine.
