Since the joining of the steel hull and aluminium superstructure for the explorer yacht BERING 92 in December 2019, work continues on schedule for her launch in April 2021.
The 29m/92ft expedition yacht features contemporary exterior styling complemented by light and airy interiors. Bold lines lead from the raked bow to the stern, with large windows not only on the main deck but in the hull to provide greater illumination for the guest cabins.
A draft of only 1.7m/5.6ft makes her an ideal choice for shallow cruising grounds such as the Bahamas, and also for entering sheltered bays in remote destinations. The overall beam of 6.74m/22.11ft, meanwhile, ensures that there is plenty of space to avoid ‘cabin fever’ on long and intensive cruise itineraries.

The accommodation sleeps up to eight guests in four en-suite cabins, three of which are placed amidships on the lower deck while the Master suite on the main deck forward makes use of the full beam and connects through to the foredeck for effortless indoor/outdoor flow. The Master suite also has a combined office/walk-in wardrobe in the bow of the lower deck.

In addition to the beautiful main salon and combined formal dining area on the main deck, guests living aboard have a shaded cockpit perfect for alfresco dining and all-day outdoor living, while the foredeck has a sun-drenched seating area for the whole group to gather for casual drinks and dining. A broad sunbathing area is placed in front of the raised pilothouse, and the half-covered flybridge has a wet bar, a lounging and dining area opposite and a sun bed aft.

A pair of 455 HP engines will give E/Y BERING 92 a top speed of 12 knots, and a cruising speed of 9 knots. She draws on a fuel tank of 5,540 gallons/21000 litres for a cruising range of more than 3,500 nautical miles.

The Bering 92 displaces 462,000 pounds (210 tons) will carry 5,540 gallons of fuel (21,000 litres) and is able to cruise for more than 3,500 miles using a pair of 455 HP engines.
